Copyright & DMCA Policy

This policy outlines the intellectual property rights governing our tool code, designs, and logos, as well as our procedures for reporting copyright infringements.

1. Intellectual Property Ownership

Unless otherwise indicated, EasyToolio and all its contents—including but not limited to the source code, database structures, math algorithms, website layouts, icons, logos, graphic design schemes, and text configurations (collectively, the "Materials")—are the exclusive property of EasyToolio or its licensors.

The Materials are protected under United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, and intellectual property laws. All rights not explicitly granted in these terms are reserved by us.

2. Ownership and Licensing of Tool Outputs

A key question is who owns the results generated by our Tools (such as text transformations, QR codes, or random lists):

  • Your Content Ownership: You retain full copyright ownership of all data, text, files, and formulas you input into our tools, as well as the unique outputs generated specifically for you (e.g. customized QR code vectors or hashed passwords).
  • Usage License: We grant you an unrestricted, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute the outputs of our calculators, converters, and generators for both personal and commercial projects without attribution.
  • No Reverse Engineering: This license does not extend to the underlying codebase, styling files, or javascript engine executing the tools. You may not extract or replicate our code logic to build competing sites.

3. Reporting Copyright Infringement

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), the text of which can be found on the U.S. Copyright Office website, we will respond expeditiously to clear claims of copyright infringement that are reported to our designated copyright agent.

If you believe that any material on our site infringes your copyright, please submit a formal notification (detailed below) to our designated DMCA Agent.

4. DMCA Notice Requirements

To file a valid copyright infringement claim, you must provide our DMCA Agent with a written notice containing the following details:

  • A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright that is allegedly infringed.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, if multiple works are covered by a single notification, a representative list).
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (e.g. the specific page URL).
  • Information reasonably sufficient to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an email address.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

5. Counter-Notifications

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with our DMCA Agent. To be valid, a counter-notice must contain the following:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location where it appeared before it was removed.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if you reside outside the United States, that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal courts located in San Francisco, California), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original infringement notification.

6. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable international intellectual property laws, EasyToolio maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, access rights for users or contributors who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We also reserve the right to ban specific IPs or domains that repeatedly violate our intellectual property constraints.
