Months do not all have the same length, and leap years add February 29 in eligible years. The calculator uses real calendar dates so birthdays after February, end-of-month dates, and leap-year spans are handled more accurately than dividing days by 365.
If someone was born on 15 June 1995 and checks their age on 29 June 2026, the result is 31 years, 0 months, and 14 days. Total days, hours, minutes, and seconds are then calculated from the full elapsed time.
